Staatsangehörigkeit

Welcome to the Staatsangehörigkeit - The exploits of a newborn World's Citizen. 99% of people who travel abroad to live for a while create a blog to share their experiences, feelings and difficulties in order to help people who want to do the same and also to keep some kind of documentary about their adventure. Well, I didn't. First of all, because I'm a wet blanket. I can't put much effort on doing something that everyone does. Don't get me wrong, I definitely don't wanna tease them (I read some of them myself when I was leaving the country and it really helped me), but assert that the feelings you get when you're about to leave the adventure and come back to real life can be much more interesting. I actually did not find it hard to leave Brasil, because I was excited with the new life and the new world I was about to know, but now I feel myself BETWEEN TWO WORLDS. Two worlds I've deeply experienced and fell in love with. The blog's name was carefully chosen (just kidding, my first 20 possibilities were no longer avaiable) and means "nationality", in german (to enlighten the search of the real national identity). By the way, this is the country I've been living in since March, 15th - 2009, and the one I'm about to leave right now. "Since I don't give a shit about the meaning of my feelings and the experiences that life provides me (as long as I can learn at least something whit them), the main goal of this blog is to write about stuff and practice my two foreign languages (Yes, I'm gonna post some stuff in german. Maybe I can translate them, if I get good mood)". The last sentece was actually written by the guy I wanted to be right now and has nothing to do with what I really think whatsoever (except the part about learning with the experiences). If I were this guy, I wouldn't need to hold the tears every time I walk through the streets of the city/life I'm about to leave. In short, this is the place where I'm gonna write down the storm of my brain. I appreciate you came to take a look and hope you can learn something with my exploits/adventures/feelings or whatever. Liebe Grüße!
